Children with Diabetes focuses on care today, so we are ready for a cure tomorrow. As a global resource, we provide support,
education and inspiration to empower families and all people living with type 1 diabetes to enjoy healthy, enriched lives.

Children with Diabetes has been a trusted source of support, education, and community since 1995. It began with one family’s search for answers after their young daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. That journey grew into a nationwide effort to provide families with the connection, information, and hope they need to thrive with T1D.

Our Friends for Life® conferences, launched in 2001, bring together people living with type 1 diabetes and their loved ones for education, inspiration, and meaningful friendships that last well beyond the event. Whether in person or online, CWD continues to meet families where they are—with tools, resources, and encouragement every step of the way.
