Pediatricians must manage patient/parent/family/caregiver dynamics. This session will describe difficult and uncomfortable interactions that became argumentative or accusative. Attendees will learn to identify strengths in patients and families, and positive, supportive, productive strategies to improve communication and avoid or manage a potential negative interaction.
