Family Heart Foundation

The Family Heart Foundation is pioneering research, advocacy, and education to help prevent heart attacks and strokes caused by familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), and high lipoprotein(a), Lp(a), two inherited disorders that have an impact across generations. We play a critical role in driving change and empowering families to navigate their own health. We will continue to promote the NHLBI and AAP recommendations for pediatric lipid screening in order for clinicians to help identify and treat those children impacted by FH and help reduce the risk of early cardiovascular disease.
